We have an opportunity to help our budget bottom line with a fund raiser spear-headed by Betsy Bailey. It’s about as painless a fund raiser as one could imagine. No sorting other people’s stuff, no figuring out prices, no washing cars, no real work at all. Just babysitting a table in one of two locations in Waltham. Actually, it’s babysitting the popcorn maker. OK, it’s making popcorn to sell, proceeds coming to CCW. And it’s an easy way to make our church known. I don’t know if this falls into a “Feed my sheep” category, but it will be fun.

According to Betsy:
We need 2 volunteers per hour in the morning slots. The location for that is Prospect Hill Park on Totten Pond Road in Waltham.
We need 4 volunteers per hour in the afternoon/evening slots. Business really picks up in the afternoon, hence the need for more people. The location is Leary Field on Bacon Street in Waltham. Fireworks around 9:30…
No help needed between 1:30 and 3:30. That time is spent moving to the new location.
BYOC (bring your own chair)
Food is available (right next to our table)
Betsy is providing drinks
We need ALL slots filled in order to do this.
It’s gonna be fun!
